GHS Year End Band Performances

The GHS Performing Arts Department wrapped up 2016 with a series of performances just before leaving for winter break.

The first of these was the second winter concert, held on the evening of Thursday, December 22nd, an encore performance of the first concert which was held one week prior. It is one of the most popular performances of the school year and is always an audience favorite.

The following morning, Friday, many members of Band, Chorus, and Orchestra arrived at school early to play at the annual faculty holiday breakfast, which is held each year on the last day before winter break.
A couple of hours later was the last of the December concerts, put on by the high school for students visiting from Bartlett Elementary school. This concert uses a shortened program of the one from the previous night, usually featuring the most entertaining pieces from each group. This is a favorite concert for performing arts members because of its more relaxed feel and enthusiastic audience.
