Infinity War Review
After watching the New Avengers movie, Infinity War, I left the theatre with an urge to rewatch it immediately. Mostly because I felt as if there were some hidden features in the movie that many people miss the first time around as many Marvel movies tend to have but also because of the pure quality of the movie. After going back a second time I was still impressed with the cinematic ability of Marvel. My initial response was that Infinity War was that it was well made and the plot was interesting for the entirety of the film which is a hard thing to maintain for a movie that’s over 120 minutes long. They also did a good job of following along with all of the Avenger movies that came before it. Another factor that I liked about the movie was the amount of emotion it brought to the audience. I personally was waiting for this movie for a long time and had watched all the trailers before hand which made it that much better when i finally saw it. For me, the movie plot was much about what people experience in real life emotionally; love, loss and friendship. The movie is roughly 2 ½ hours long and Marvel kept it busy and suspenseful the entire time which I find to be an important quality in a longer movie. As I mentioned before Marvel tends to put hidden messages into the movies for diehard fans that know what to look for. If I had to complain about one detail it was the fact that the team was separated for a huge portion of the movie and didnt come together until about the last ten minutes. This was obviously done for a reason which created suspense and kept the audience guessing what would come next but it was almost hard to follow at points when it was going back and forth to each group of the Avengers team. The ending of the movie, while suspenseful was borderline anti-climactic and now fans will have to wait a couple more years to see what plays out in the Marvel universe. It was a cliffhanger of the ages that I will be looking forward to Marvel topping this one with the next quality film they produce. When it comes to Marvel movies, if you don’t see them within the first couple nights of release spoilers tend to spread like wildfire. This is a big deal for some people and since I was unable to see it opening night the movie was spoiled for me. While I wasn’t happy about this it doesn’t mean I wasn’t still going to see how the film turned out. Overall the movie was a huge success in my opinion and I urge everyone, even people who haven’t followed Marvel or people who had the movie spoiled to give it a shot.
