Exploring your faith can sometimes be a challenging subject, and most times there aren’t places in school that allow you to do this. William M. Conley, a senior here at Goffstown High school, wanted to give people this ability. Will has been going to GHS for all his four years of high school, during these four years he has accomplished many things. One of his friends, Cavan, would describe Will as “Friendly, dedicated, and Passionate”. Cavan also expressed how much Will has evolved as an actor and singer and how Will carries a certain energy about him that makes everyone feel welcome. Some of Will’s most proud achievements include, founding the new Christian Youth Club, becoming class president in 2023, and being the proud school mascot. Aside from these achievements, Will is involved with many different clubs here at school. These being, his own CYC, Student Council, writing for the Paw Print, Grizzly Buzz, as well as being a devoted theater member. Will has also played club volleyball for 3 years as it is one of his favorite sports. He plans on going to college, with his top choice right now being Plymouth State University. He wants to study acting, directing, business admin, along with some other liberal arts.
Will’s favorite club is the one he himself created here at Goffstown High school, Christian Youth Club (CYC). He says this one is his favorite because, “I get to share Christ’s love in a friendly and welcoming environment”. CYC is a club that allows students and teachers to learn more about the faith and to give non-Christians a safe place to learn what they want to about the religion and the Bible. Will wanted to start up this club because he wanted to create a space for him, other Christians, and anyone in the GHS community who wanted to dig deeper into the Bible and learn more about the religion. He thinks that any student should join the club for the welcoming environment and an inclusive place where everyone can state their opinions. Even if you’re not super religious, Will Conley is a kindhearted and extremely welcoming student at our school, being in his presence will make the rest of your day. So, stop by the step room, Friday mornings at 7:15 and see what the CYC, and Will Conley, are all about!
