On the 5th of June, 2025, the boys varsity lacrosse team went up against Hanover in a home game. The game started with Hanover securing the first point, however, Isaac Robinson scored briefly after tying the match. Carter Smedick added another goal, giving the Goffstown Grizzlies a 2:1 advantage. However, Hanover promptly countered, leveling the score once more. With two minutes and thirty-five seconds left in the first quarter, Hanover scored a third goal, concluding the first quarter with a score of 2:3.
In the second quarter, Carter Smedick, wearing jersey number 18, found the net once again, bringing Goffstown back to a tie at 3:3. Again, Hanover relentlessly scores again regaining the lead. Fortunately, Tyler Lessard scored the fourth point for Goffstown bringing the score to 4:4. Moments later, Jason Matatall secured the fifth point breaking the pattern Hanover would stick to.
The next quarter, Hanover ties again with a score of 5:5, followed by another goal to make it 5:6. In the final quarter, Noah Babin scored leveling the match at 6:6.

Eventually, the game went overtime due to the recurring tie. Unfortunately, Goffstown had a face-off violation, giving Hanover the possession. This advantage resulted in Hanover’s win to 6:7.
Despite the outcome, the Goffstown Grizzlies displayed remarkable effort and determination throughout the match. Well played, team!
