Originally, I only read this book because a friend asked me to. She needed someone to rant with, and given my reading habits, found me to be a good choice. This book isn’t the type of thing I normally read, but once I started it, I couldn’t stop. I finished this one in two days and proceeded to read the other two books in the trilogy in less than five hours. It was insane! This series, quite literally, shattered me and my previously established beliefs about near-future dystopias. The books follow Juliette as she deals with a curse gift she’s had since she was young. Juliette can’t touch people. It’s set in a near-future dystopian society where the Reestablishment is in charge, since their way is the only way to fix things. It’s truly an incredible series that’s full of suspense and thrill, you’ll be guessing right until the end of book three. The books in order are, Shatter Me, Unravel Me, and Ignite Me.
