Restaurant Review: Panera Bread

Avery Skora, Staff Writer

If you’re looking for a healthier alternative, but still want your food fast, try out Panera Bread.  Panera offers many food options from panini sandwiches to a variety of salads, soups and the list goes on.

When you first walk in, you will smell an aroma of fresh foods, like their bread, for example, is a crowd favorite.  It is served warm and baked just right.  When you take your first bite, you will never want to stop ordering this side.  Just when you thought the regular bread couldn’t get any better, it does.  You can order it in the form of a bread bowl with soup inside.

Speaking of soup, they have a variety of creamy soups.  Broccoli Cheddar is one of the best, and creamy tomato with a sandwich is a great pair.

In terms of cost, it can be pricey.  The mac and Cheese is $10.19, and the sandwiches range from $7.99 to $12.59.  But a benefit is free refills!  Papaya Green Tea, Lemonade, iced tea, sodas, smoothies, coffee, etc.

Another benefit is the food comes fast, after ordering. They give you a buzzer, so when your food is ready, you’re notified.  It is very helpful, and the food comes in 5-10 minutes!  It’s like fast food, but better for you!
