It’s that time of the year. Red Ribbon week is upon us, and Peer Outreach is supporting the cause. If you hadn’t already noticed, Peer Outreach is distributing red bracelets to support this week’s message of #no safe experience. According to Ms. O’Shea, one of the Peer Outreach advisors, this week is all about supporting the no drug-use cause and being kind to your mind. The campaign’s goal it to remind you there are many other ways to cope without resorting to drugs.
The #no safe experience campaign, is a statewide campaign hosted by the NH State Police focusing on the “prevalence and dangers of fentanyl in fake pills and illicit drugs.” The goal is to educate the citizens in the state of New Hampshire. Help support the cause.
Peer Outreach will continue to celebrate Red Ribbon week with various activities including handing out candy on Halloween. The week will wrap up with a day (Friday) for all to wear red in support of living a drug free lifestyle.
Want to become a member of Peer Outreach and serve your GHS community? The club meets Tuesdays at 7:15 am in room 112. See Ms. O’Shea or Mr. Webb for more details.
