Homecoming week celebrations at GHS ended on October 12th with a school-wide dance in the gym. Tickets for the dance were sold online for 10 dollars. They could not be purchased at the door. Sales were held the week of the dance and the week beforehand.
Once you arrived at GHS, you would get your tickets checked right in front of the gym. Decorations included clear balloons with fairy lights and flashing lights all around. Students from other schools were not allowed to attend the dance. Ava Hale asked teachers around the school why they could not bring students from other schools. The reason was that it was for safety purposes to keep the students at this school safe.
This year, the Homecoming dance committee organized this dance and provided snow cones, pizza, and water for the students to cool down if they were hot.
