Deanna Bentas is a 14-year-old Freshman at Goffstown High School. She lived in Manchester, NH for the first 7 years of her life then moved and has lived in Goffstown ever since. She’s extremely creative, friendly, and funny. Her favorite colors are red and blue, and she’s been dancing for 12 years. She says her favorite thing about dancing is that “you can tell a story through dancing”.
On a typical odd day Deanna wakes up and gets to school around 7:38. She goes straight to Journalism Honors and works on articles. She has English 9 Honors with an interesting group of individuals. She has lunch with her best friend Lejla Nunes. Deanna then attends world history. World history is her favorite class because of how she’s taught. After Deanna goes to physical science with many of her friends. She walks home from school and starts to get ready for dance. Her grandmother picks her up at about 4:30 to bring her to dance at Miss Robins Dance etc.
When Deanna arrives, she goes straight to tap class. After tap she has a 30-minute break until jazz class. When jazz is over, she goes to her competition class and then lyrical. She’s at the studio from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. When she gets home it’s about 8:00 and she eats dinner then showers and watches a movie with her mom. Her days are long but so worth it.
