After a fantastical prom night for the juniors and seniors at St. Anselm’s davidsons dining hall, it’s time to reflect on 2025’s end of the year hurrah. Starting at 6 and ending at 10, this year’s Great Gatsby theme really took the cake with its classy table decorations and dazzling lights, really tying together the vibe. Despite the school keeping its same menu as last year with its mac and cheese bites and cannolis, according to the server it was all fresh made specially from a bakery, and fortunately for us the crowd seemed generally pleased so perhaps our upperclassman party goers lucked out. Among the decorations, a photo booth was also available, broadcasting all the lovely group selfies to the dance floor, for added fun. Not only did we have these fabulous setups but fortunately for us, the DJ was supposedly pretty groovy too (which has been sort of a problem in the past). This year’s prom seemed to not be a blast with people saying “the night was a dream” and “I appreciated the friendly atmosphere”. Apart from the prom itself, Saint Anselm is on an enchantingly beautiful campus where many actually took the opportunity to use for formal prom pictures(hint to next year’s prom goers, it’s a great place for pictures). With this in mind, just remember how this fantabulous party made people “wish i could have partied longer!” for next year.
